SMB and Branch Offices

We offer two different series among our models:

Series 100 models offer 1 GE ports, plus SFP or SFP+.
Series 200 models are equipped with 2.5 GE and 1 GE ports, plus SFP+ (varies by model).

Each series includes models with 8, 24, and 48 ports.

Power over Ethernet

Power over Ethernet (PoE) lets you connect and power your PoE-enabled devices, such as access points, security cameras, and IP phones, using a single Ethernet cable. Your preferred management interface gives you visibility into power consumption and keeps you within your PoE allocation.

Deployment Options

While most 24- and 48-port models were designed for rack installation, our basic 8-port models are also suitable for wall mounting or desktop and bench use, making them the ideal choice for deployments outside standard datacenter environments. All switches ship with the appropriate mounting kit.

Your Sophos Switches can be managed in several ways. Over time, we plan to expand Sophos Central’s configuration options; for now, in this initial release, you’ll need to use a different management interface to access more advanced configuration tasks.

Sophos Central

A unified dashboard for all your Sophos solutions. Limited configuration in this first release. Management through Sophos Central requires a support and services subscription.

Local Web Management

Use this interface to access your Sophos Switch’s full feature set and configuration from day one. Local web management is included in the switch’s purchase price.

Command Line Interface

For administrators familiar with using the command line interface (CLI) for network management. CLI management is included in the switch’s purchase price.

SNMP

The SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) protocol can be used to manage and monitor the switch. SNMP management is included in the switch’s purchase price.
